Federico Vincenzo Alvaro was born in Vittorio Veneto (TV) on 08/05/1996. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Bologna (2019). He then continued his studies at the University of Verona, attending the master’s degree program in Agro-food Biotechnology and specializing in plant physiology, dedicating his thesis period to the study of a particular photoprotective mechanism (NPQ) using Arabidopsis thaliana as model organism. After graduation (2024), he continued to study photosynthesis first as a research fellow, and later (10/2024) as a PhD student, with the aim of analyzing the structure-function relationship of photosynthetic protein supercomplexes in higher plants.
