Ana Paula Pedro is a bachelor’s student in Biological Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and is currently spending a semester on exchange at the University of Verona, where she contributes to experiments and research projects in the laboratory. She is involved in studies on the photoprotective mechanism of non-photochemical quenching (NPQ), using Arabidopsis thaliana as a model organism.
