Zeno Guardini, Antonello Amelii and Roberto Bassi took part as invited speakers in the scientific outreach event “DFBC SUSTAINABILITY TALKs. Ideas on Sustainability for a New Humanism 2025/2026,” organized by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
This series of meetings aims to provide a flexible platform for scientific and educational communication on sustainability. During the event, Prof. Bassi delivered a keynote lecture titled “Fotosintesi e clima: tutte le sfumature del verde”.
The lecture was followed by a roundtable discussion with Zeno and Antonello, together with Prof. Guerra and Prof. Giunta from Ca’ Foscari. The session highlighted the crucial connection between fundamental research on photosynthesis and the global challenge of climate change.
