Federico V. Alvaro and Luca Dall’Osto attended the FESPB satellite congress titled “Photosynthesis: From Fundamental Mechanisms to Applications” in Gárdony, Hungary, from 29/06 to 02/07/2025.
The congress aimed to expand knowledge of fundamental photosynthetic mechanisms and their performance under abiotic stresses, with the goal of developing strategies to improve photosynthetic efficiency and renewable energy production.
Luca Dall’Osto was invited to deliver a lecture on the possibilities of tuning the antenna system of Photosystem II to enhance photosynthetic efficiency.
Federico Alvaro presented an oral talk titled “Knocking out doubts: How to resolve the role of Lhcb2 in plant photoprotection.”
