Federico V. Alvaro and Luca Dall’Osto attended the FESPB Plant Biology Europe conference in Budapest, Hungary, from 25/06 to 28/06/25.
The congress covered both traditional and emerging topics in plant biology, with a particular focus on the challenges posed by climate change.
Luca Dall’Osto opened the Photosynthesis and Light Regulation session, presenting an overview of the laboratory’s results on the elucidation of light-harvesting functions, photoprotection responses, and the efficiency of thylakoid stacking in the Photosystem II antenna system of plants.
Federico Alvaro participated in the poster session with a poster focused on the photoprotective role of the Photosystem II antenna subunit Lhcb2 in higher plants.
